    Well, if this is purely based on vocal ability, MJ wasn't great after the Jackson 5.

    I thought her first album was great. Her second album had more of a pop sound, can't really get mad at her for wanting to get paid. But I wouldn't consider it bad music, just annoying at how much "Rolling in the Deep" was played.

    But yeah, vocally, don't think there's any females better than Adele today.

    I'm a Bon Iver fan and it's nice to see him in the spotlight. I think his name came up a lot at the Grammys.

    One amazing voice that hasn't been mentioned yet... Paolo Nutini. And he's one of the few artists I've heard who sounds every bit as good live as he does on record.

    I just put her in the same class with John Mayer. The talent is undeniable, the music just doesn't appeal to me. A few good songs here and there, but not as many as there should be.
