Vince Young wants to play, but not at expense of victories

I hate that stat. When has a running qb not won a sb? It doesn't mean they can't win one. It just means it hasn't happened. When has an african american or hispanic or asian qb won a sb? Never. But it could happen.

 

Interesting you bring up sense or logic and then try to justify not starting Young because he doesn't resemble a previous Superbowl winning QB?

There is no formula for a Superbowl winning QB.

 

Who cares if he wins a SB or not, the real crime is having one of the NFL's top 20 played players on your bench. Either play him or deal him but don't let him sit there. IMO that is one of the major reasons we are 0-4, should have dealt him last year and not had the issues this season. We could have used that extra 3 million to put someone on the Defense!

Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer won a SB... Those guys are hall of famers, right?

 

Name one of those guys that came close to being rookie of the year. You can't...that is the reason that this guy is different! So, I don't think you can compare him to Couch, Leaf or Smith.

 

Well, statistically speaking, Tim Couch had a better rookie season.

i think everyone is wasting their time talking about VY, Fishy is sticking with Collins the next 12 games. we need to focus on defense anyways. thats the real big problem. cause it's not just 1 guy, it's the whole team and the defense coach.
