Vince Young gets paid a LOT

I seem to remember that he wanted a very incentive layden contract. I imagine the high salary this year was for incentives from last year: taking X number of snaps, making the Pro Bowl, Rookie of the Year, etc. 12 million for a season is pretty high, but that is probably including incentives.

I don't remember hearing that they picked up his 6th year option. When was that?

 

VY hit almost every escalator in his rookie contract (Probowl, OROY, x snaps, etc).

Thus, he raked in some serious cash last year...

 

This is from late May 2007. So, he got all the bonus money for all the starts and they likely frontloaded the rookie year while we had all the cap $. He won't be on the list come this May.

Have a look at his official website,10vinceyoung.com. he's got a range called VY gear, last time i looked they had some sport shoes about 2 weeks ago. Don't know if they have added to it since.

 

Vince sure has some ugly shoes. Should have signed with Nike. Reebok is doing nothing for him.

 

Gloat, I love your posts but I swear I think you would complain that your ice cream was cold.
