    Saw this on Rotoworld....

Matt Williamson of ESPN Scouts, Inc. compares Locker to a young Donovan McNabb as an accuracy-challenged passer with a cannon arm and elite athleticism.

I know someone who said (last night) "VY is better than Locker for sure".

Then I was called a homer for saying Locker is way better.

Jake made a few throws in one game that VY has never come close to making. If VY tried to complete the throw to Stevens or either throw to Nate, it would've been picked.

His completion percentage isn't as great because he's been in desperate situations in both the Falcons and Saints games.

Everyone keeps acting like just because his completion percentage is low after very few throws that he's chronically inaccurate.

As bad as Indy has been, they're still an NFL defense we better not sleep on.

Completely agree. Take the quick slant to Mariani in the endzone. That was a well thrown ball that Harper made a great play on. The ball would have hit Mariani in the chest if Harper isn't there, but it still goes as an incompletion.

Another thing to take into consideration when looking at accuracy is how many times did he have to throw the ball away to keep from taking a sack and how many drops did he have. I can think of at least 2 drops he had in this game alone, maybe 3.

that isn't the accuracy issue......just crap play by surrounding cast. Lol!
Hasselbeck had the same issues. We have dropped a LOT of passes.....especially early in the season.

He has had some accuracy issues on throws on a few slants and a few open rcvrs......the infamous 3rd & 1 to Williams this Sunday, for example.
    But that will improve.

I've noticed that he seems to throw better on the run/ roll out than standing in the pocket. I like the ability to move, but that makes me a little uneasy.

I have to disagree with that. I get a lot of Jacksonville games on local tv and Gabbert runs away from pressure when it isn't there. I haven't seen Locker do that but maybe once. Gabbert also falls away from incoming rushers when he throws ball and Locker stands in and takes the hit.

I do see what you're saying though. He looks to run too early sometimes, but a lot of young, athletic QBs do that when the first read isn't open.
