Yeah man, he missed a game or something. Everyone knew he is injury prone...
I know we've had a lot of discussion about QBs all year, but I haven't heard you guys' opinion (none that I could find) on whether or not we should pursue Josh McCown.
Clearly, he did pretty well this year for the Bears. I know he's getting pretty old but I thought it might be nice to get a veteran who's hot right now and maybe a second rounder like Boyd. Thoughts?
What has McCown done in his career to warrant consideration. He was in a qb friendly system with Forte, Marshall, and Ashlon.
Chad Henne's contract is up and he's available. Wouldn't be a bad option for a backup and if he could just get a semi-stable situation, I think he could do well.
McCown is a system QB in a QB-friendly Trestman system: http://www.gotitans.com/threads/vet-qbs-for-march.90533/#post-1130191
Nobody on here seemed to want him.
I think we need to start fresh if Locker has a bad year this year or if he gets injured. I'd rather have a young qb than this again...
Vick, Cousins, Manziel, or a 3rd round pick like McCarron are the guys I'd like to see us go after.
Vick as a bridge starter til we can draft and develop our own guy,
Cousins has loads of potential and could be worth the gamble.
Everyone knows how i feel about Manziel
McCarron impresses me a lot the more I watch him play. Most likely not a star in this league but could have a solid career for sure.
No, no, no, and maybe
Kirk Cousins sucks. He will never be a viable starter in the NFL. The Redskins killed his trade value last season when they benched RGIII. Should have made up some excuse and played Grossman instead to keep the allure of a "franchise" QB alive.
