Verner wins starting job at CB

Yeah verner plays with a bit of aggression. I imagine that's been passed down some. Verner scrappy style lets him play outside much like finny could. However that style is awesome to have on the inside as well. Hopefully Coty surprises.

 

Big fan of ATV, not sure why there's some hate on the guy. Either way there was no doubt in my mind he was going to be starting. Hope BWW works out though, would really help.

 

I trust Coty as the nickel. You can tell he's a smart player.

I love ATV but I think this is his last year as a Titan. He's gonna get PAID in FA. Will target an outside guy next year (or Blidi will take that job).

 

No one hates Verner, its just that some realize he's slower than most CB's. Saying he's slow or small doesnt mean anyone dislikes the guy, most if not all Titan fans love Verner.

He's exceeded my expectations by a long shot from when he was drafted by us.

 

Verner is an ideal corner in week 1 going against the Steelers smaller receivers. Campbell should still be used against bigger receivers

 

Or we use Campbell and squash those little pipsqueaks.

I've watch home a few time exclusively. Looks a bit small on film but plays pretty well. Needs to add an aggressive aspect to his game.

 

thanks for the imput, i guess that's what makes me miss finny. Our corners lack fire and character in my opinion. Maybe we see more fire this year
