I don't think that rematch between us and Arkansas would be that different. It's not like they hadn't hit their stride back then. Look at the Georgia game.

I don't see much of an argument at all to say that Bama isn't either 1 or 2.

As for this upcoming game, I think Bama wins pretty easily but I don't think we'll cover the spread (18.5 I think?).

I'm interested to see what Monte dials up as well but if it's anything similar to what he's been dialing up all season, I'm not too worried about it.

Got it. One Bloat is enough though.

I saw somewhere where it's down to 15..

Um, you should be worried about it. Monte's D will easily be the best Bammer's have faced all year. He'll figure out a way to slow Ingram down and force McElroy to throw it.

UT's defense is the one way they have a real shot in the game.

Bama should handle them but their passing game has really sucked of late and they are settling for field goals too often.

Before the season started i predicted Bama would go 11-1 with their only loss to UT but i didn't expect the defense to be so good. They are one of the best defenses i have ever seen. Even better than last year and 2005.

Since the OC came to town, the offense has seen all the looks from other defenses. McElroy's not scared of his Tampa 2 playcalls. He'll be back to his real self on Saturday, RollTide, just you watch. This should be a blowout. Game day can't get here any slower.

Yeah, BETUS has 14 now which is certainly more attractive.

The reason I'm not too worried about it is because Monte's defense has failed to win Tennessee any games other than Georgia which I didn't see so I really have no clue what went on there. I'm not even sure that it's the best we've faced all year. It may be but VT, MS, and SC all have pretty stout defenses. I was impressed by the Florida game but TN didn't even try to win the game. Afterwards, the defense struggled with an overrated Auburn team that scored 14 on Kentucky.

I agree with you though, TN will do all it can to force the ball in to McElroy's hands. If he plays like he has the last few games, it will be less than a 2 TD win. If he plays better like he did earlier on in the season, it will be more than 2 TDs. My reasoning is that even if the TN D comes up big, forces a few TOs and some 3 and outs, that won't help the struggling TN offense decipher our defense which by most accounts is "better" than Tennessee's.

By the way, Tennessee is my second favorite team :). I was born in Tennessee but I grew up in Bama.

    Edit:

Something else to add; our D also runs a lot of Tampa 2 so it shouldn't be anything new for Greg.

    Ole Miss' D and SC's D handled McElroy fairly easily.....but he isn't scared of Monte's D??

    Ok

Was our O that bad or their D's that good??
It goes back to the chicken or the egg circular logic.

I'm a believer in this guy, someone who's studied the game tirelessly and made the best of every chance he's been called on to perform. He still hasn't lost a single game in his LIFE thus far, and I see the streak continuing after this one. He'll recover, even if it the results aren't immediate like everyone wants.
