Peyton will be coaching in the nfl, not college- if he does coach.

but lol @ this signing. Man, I'd be pissed. Even to the point where I'd want Fulmer back. This guy couldnt even post a winning record in the WAC- and now he's coaching in the SEC?

How has he recruited in the past? This could get extremely ugly.

I think 99% of vols fans would rather have this nobody than have Fulmer back. So you can just stop right there DW.

He was Saban's recruiting coordinator at LSU, back when he was there. Might be a diamond in the rough. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Who knows. If he can get good assistants and recruit well, like he obviously did for LSU he could be darn good. I'd rather have a guy with a good track record of recruiting and he is well respected. Obviously Saban liked him.

I hope for his sake, he doesn't. He could fail at that. He, his kids and grandkids, and great grandkids are already gonna be millionaires.. he's got nothing to prove, and nothing to work for. His reputation has nowhere to go but down. So many good players don't make good coaches. You have to not only have a grasp of the game (which he does) but you need the ability to lead and control a whole team, without being on the field with them.

If he coaches, he will eventually have a bad team, he will go ballistic on his players, and he can't do anything to fix it, because he's not playing. Coaches can only do so much. In bad situations, we all know what Peyton does. He throws players under the bus, and whines. But we haven't seen too much of that because he's been outstanding his entire career.

Albert Haynesworth will coach Tennessee when he retires and Donte Stallworth will be his assistant.

You know, even with his 100 million- Albert couldn't afford OSU recruits.
