Freddy Adu is the answer.

I don't believe until the USA finally let's Freddy Adu start will we ever have a chance in the world cup. For whatever reason, he's the player who shines for the USA inspite of all his struggles in all other leagues. The it factor is there. Hopefully one day a USA coach will embrace it. I always thought Preki had the it factor too. It's just a shame that we've been afraid to put a truly American style of soccer on the pitch, inperfections included.

He dated Jo Jo. That's all you need to qualify to be American. But if that aint enough he's also a U.S. Citizen playing for our national team. The dude is an American Striker to the core.
