    [UPDATE] - I'm noticing a lot of people saying, "So what if it's real-time? It's a cutscene not gameplay." If we refer back to a Richard Diamant interview I gave in 2007, the differences between cutscenes and gameplay were few and far between in the original game;

    "Patrick: The characters in Uncharted are some of the most impressive video game models to date. They look even more impressive up close in the cutscenes. Are the in-game models any different from the cutscene models?

    Richard: Thanks! Nope, the in game models are the exact same models that are used in the cutscenes. They also use the exact same textures. There really is no difference between them at all.

    The only difference between the cutscenes and in game is a little higher quality lighting and shadowing. Hopefully not too noticeably different. We really wanted to keep the players immersed as much as possible. This meant using the same assets across the board."

    that was the only question i had about the scene.

    Dude, that's not real time gameplay. You're an idiot if you think it is. I couldn't care less what some dork trying to MARKET a game says. How many times did we hear that this and that isn't cutscene in other trailers?...
    That's a cutscene. Unless you think you're going to control the guy while the camera rolls around the character and his facial expressions react to you picking things up while a voice clip plays.

    in fairness you didn't say anything about game play, you said real time. it was a real time cut scene, not CGI, which was the original question.

    Wrong again.

    Whether it is a cut scene or not. It is using the game's engine, not CGI.

    Really, it's not that hard to figure out. Even for you.

    When most people refer to real time, they mean 'not a cutscene'. Otherwise it's irrelevant.

    A cutscene is just an automated sequence using the same graphical engine and not CGI.

    I'd have loved to see both of them back. Sully was actually a pretty funny guy.
