ugh....I am truly disgusted.
The played well for half a game. Well they they played average for half a game. Wow they managed to stop a JUCO transfer 3rd string qb, a back up RB and a freshman receiver for thirty minutes. They got punked in the second half. No that impressive. UCLA should have never even seen the endzone. Special teams continues to be a problem for the Vols. That goes back to coaching. Crompton is also on my **** list. The guy looked like VY out there throwing the ball. I also thought we had one of the best o-lines in the nation but they crumbled. Florida comes to town in a couple. If the same Tennessee team shows up it will be ugly.
this coming from a fan of a team who just played youngstown state.
and, also, what did the wolverines do this weekend... lose to UTAH?!? a mountain west team?!?!
Fair enough. I just feel the defense played good and certainly did enough for the team to win. The O and ST let the team down.
Utah is better than UCLA. But yeah...
The defense completely folded the last few drives in the 4th quarter. Most of the blame probably goes to the coaching staff that played deep zone coverage and simply let passes get completed in front of the defenders all the way to the end zone.
Michigan looked like do do that game and were playing at home. If I were you I'd be ashamed to even be posting on the board after what I saw. I'm not sure that Michigan team is half as good as the team last year.
I don't care what Michigan does, I hope they lose more often.
Yea we did beat Youngstown State what of it? I think if USC is going to jump us I think we should jump Georgia. I mean we didn't give up 21 points to a 1A school. Besides #1 vs. #2 is much cooler.
In other news Tressel has listed Wells as doubtful for this weeks game against Ohio. But he said he'll probably be probable for the game against USC, saying that Wells can play through pain. It's pretty much what I expected to happen.
Tennessee had to go to the West coast in a hostile environment. I wasn't surprised.
