Well, UT fans...Keep your heads up.

...afterall, there are plenty crappy SEC teams to beat and end up back in the top 25 for unwarranted reasons.
For the second season in a row, the SEC dominance is showcased by being beaten by a mediocre team out of the lowly Pac 10.

And once again, here we are - week 1, and both our teams only hope to get better for next season. :(
And does anyone understand why I think Crompton is only 'as good' as Ainge? It's the same guy.

Posted! And they were almost saved by a face-mask on what would have been the game-sealing sack.
Foster looks slow now, but Jones looked pretty good to me.

Crompton was awful. I'm pretty sure my blind man throws more accurately than he does.
Lincoln can't kick the bucket out from under his own feet.

I told you guys so on Crompton. "No better than Ainge". As I said...at least you guys have basketball to look forward to til next season when you have a good young QB.

The Vols are frauds, they've been frauds for years, but massively overrated. I enjoyed this almost as much as when my Penn State Nittany Lions beat them in the Outback Bowl.

    Almost.

Fulmer is the main factor in their struggles. Not sure why UT fans stick by the guy. If he doesn't have a great year recruiting, he never does anything.

It is shameful that we can't represent the SEC better against the Pac10. 1-2 the last 3 seasons, hopefully make it 2-2 next year.

What really sucks is, the vols DOMINATED that game. Our defense deserved the win. I don't understand why we didn't run the ball more. It seemed like we would've had more success just wearing out their defense using Foster/Hardesty combo over and over.

And **** Foster. He is the king of clutch fumbles. (didn't he also cost us that Penn State one of the above posters mentioned) If he doesn't fumble that one away, it's a win. Of course if UCLA doesn't block that punt it's a win. Or if Lincoln (the kicker) played badass the way he can, then it's a win.

None of that happened. We gave this one away. And it's shameful to our defense, because they played good.
