If Memphis is selling their spot, I think a lot of teams will move on it. Memphis ought to see if Miami is interested. They appear to not want Beasley. The real kicker is that Beasley was player of the year in high school and could have been in college. So that kid can ball. They must really not like his personality. It also means Beasley could drop to 5 with some luck. And then Memphis might be kicking themselves later.

Beasley would be drafted 3rd if he did drop. I just think Memphis is stupid for trading all their good players to clear cap room. Just stick with the players they have now. Make that Denver trade that would move them up to from #28 to #20 while trading Kyle Lowry and the Grizz also getting Kleiza. Draft Kevin Love and draft maybe Brandon Rush. Miami if they don't want Beasley should just trade down a few spots and pick up more players.

One thing I like about Mayo is that he is always smiling. It just looks like he is happy. I personally think that makes for a better player and teammate. Beasley on the other hand has been player of the year at every level for the most part, so his pedigree is top notch, unlike Mayo, but he seems angrier on tv. It is a tough call. Kareem was never happy either and he did allright. But it seems to me the guys with the most personality have succeeded more often than not. When I go back and watch the nba drafts the guys who had good draft day interviews, and who were happy, or at least had a lot to say, or were professional, seem to have been better than those who didn't have a lot to say, or that were not prepared.

Seems as if all the teams want to trade their pick.

No real superstars in this one other than Rose and Mayo, IMO. And Mayo is very iffy because of his "character" issues he's always had.

Great move for the Nets, as they have cap room for the LJ, Wade, Bosh sweepstakes. :greedy: Do not know what the Bucks are doing. They can't do much in the West with that collection of talent. Maybe Yi was threating to go back to China.

And now, T.J. Ford has lost his starting job. Do not understand the Buck's day.
