whoa, kerry collins got 2? That's higher than his QB Rating vs San Diego last season. Way to go Kerry!

 

Who is going to be our emergency qb.

 

With Fisher's loyalty to vets I almost voted for Collins

 

I dislike Collins as much as the next guy but we will see no value in putting Rattay in. At least with Collins there are SB and playoffs to defende the guy. Rattay has always been terrible.

 

Tim Rattay has never had a QB rating in the 40's in any season he's played.
Actually, Kerry Collins' QB rating for the last 4 years has been lower than Tim Rattay's lowest ever. That's pretty bad.

 

Yeah, that's because Collins has actually played (for bad teams, no less). If Rattay was being thrown out on the field every week for the same teams Collins has played for, his QB rating would be terrible.

Plus, Collins QB rating before last year was solid (in the 70's). Last year was a complete abberation.

 

He started 4 games 2 years ago and ended with a qb rating of 57 (yes, that's bad, but it's not a 47). He started 9 games for San Fran (worse than us) and ended with a 60 qb rating.
He might be bad, but it takes a special talent to be as bad as Collins.

 

I dislike Collins ability, I think Rattay will do better than we expect.
