    SUMMARY: With the game against the Chargers now behind them, trade talks between the Chargers and Titans for QB Billy Volek have gone to the front burner and may be completed as early as Tuesday. The Chargers have offered a sixth-round draft pick and the Titans are asking for a fifth-round choice. The Chargers currently have only two QBs on their roster with rookie Charlie Whitehurst backing up Phillip Rivers.

    I hope they work this out because I'd like to see Volek go to a good team. He did his job as McNair's backup pretty well and seems to be a good guy. It would be sad to see him go to the Raiders, another team in disarray much like the Titans. We're not going to get anything valuable for him either way.
