Trade idea!

Yes, I know another trade idea. I'm just thinking out loud (and typing it).

So basically alot of people think the Titans should trade down. Well they're two specific teams looking to trade up; Packers and Eagles (according to Adam Schefters twitter). This is exactly what he says, "Packers, Eagles have expressed interest in trading up to 10-12 range. But it could depend on how board falls. Good prospects everywhere." Notice how he says it could depend on how board falls, so if the player that the Eagles or Packers are eyeing fall to 16, we should make a trade. Packers and Eagles have the 23rd and 24th pick (Eagles also have 2 2nd round picks).

So for example, the Eagles trade their 2010 1st and 2010 2nd (later 2nd) for the Titans 2010 1st round and 2011 6th.

The Titans now have: 24th pick in the draft and 55th.
With the 24th pick we could draft Everson Griffen, Devin McCourtey, or Jerry Hughes.

But how bout this for a twist, the Browns like Colt McCoy. Rumor has it that he may be a late 1st rounder. The Browns have 38th pick, and 3 3rds. So why not then trade the 24th pick for a 2nd, 3rd, and later round.

The Titans now have: 2 2nds and 3 3rds.

What do you guys think about that? Has a 5% chance of happening, but who knows.

 

For example our draft could go:
1st 2nd - Arrelious Benn
2nd 2nd - LaMarr Houston
1st 3rd - Brandon Ghee
2nd 3rd - Corey Wootton
3rd 3rd - Thaddeus Gibson

We would get 5 good players in the draft.

Or we could even use a 2nd/3rd for a Big Al trade?
