    I also love this team, but I'm realistic. I will be SHOCKED if we make Playoffs this year. I'll be surprised if we finish above .500. Neither of these players fit what we're trying to accomplish right now. Pass on these guys.

    I think we could win as few as 2 and as many as 10 games this season. SO MUCH is up in the air:
    - New HC and new staff at key positions
    - 2 brand new QBs
    - Will Britt stay out of trouble long enough to have an impact on the field
    - When will the CJ deal get done, if it gets done at all

    I could go on. There's a lot working against us this season. If I had to pick a win total for this season I'd probably go with 7. And believe me, that IS me being very optimistic. There's a fine line between optimism and delusion. :D

    Glad we resigned Ford but I'm not even remotely sold on this build a defense around great depth with no playmakers. Works decently in theory but without a few guys that can change the momentum of a game at any given moment you can't take it to that next level. Average players get average results typically. Depth doesn't win championships, just ask the Jailblazers.

    You make a fine point, but Derrick Morgan can be our game changer on the D-Line. Jason Jones isn't half bad either. Coming off IR his rookie season Morgan may not stack up next to Peppers and Mario Williams, but he has a ton of ability.

    I would't give up a top 3 round pick for either of these guys. I feel like CB is our best position (behind RB of course) with Finny, Verner & Mccourty. I rather have these three guys (especially Verner and Mccourty keep developing) than Asante.

    And forget Usi, I'm content at DE with the resigning of Ford, content enough to NOT trade a 1-3 round pick for Usi.
