He lost his starting job and most of his carries to an un-drafted free agent. We reached for him in the draft 2 years ago and it was a mistake. Another team is not going to give us a pick for him to bail out our former GM stupidity. Why would Seattle trade for Sankey? They have Thomas Rawls who ran well and could draft a RB in the 5th round that would give them more then Sankey.

They might not see like we see it. Happens all the time in the league. One team's garbage is another team's starter. Did you forget about Andy Levitre? How about Oher (helped get the Panthers to the SB this year)? They sucked here, too...but they rebounded with another team. Either we are snake bit, or our OL coaching sucked.

Same might be the case with our RB coach. NOBODY played like a starter last year. Remember Trent Richardson? The Colts traded their 1st Rd pick for him...trash or not. They thought they could get more out of him than Cleveland got. Fitzpatrick sucked moth balls here...but somehow managed to rebound in NY. Sometimes teams hit on a reclamation project. Sometimes they don't. It only takes one delusional GM, and there are other Ruston Webster types out there, believe it or not.

Neither of which were traded for a high pick.

They have no value, no one is trading anything but a very late pick for them, if at all.

Levitre and Oher had previous success in the league prior to signing with us. Oher signed as a free agent with Carolina. Levitre was not a fit in our offense but was an All Pro prior and we only got a 6th for him. You are delusional if you think anyone is giving up a 4th round pick for Sankey or McCluster. What team would Sankey offer an upgrade at RB to?

All of that about Levitre and Oher is totally irrelevant, because they had been struggling for years. Oher was struggling with the Ravens before us. I don't know what we could get for Sankey or McCluster....neither do you. So stop acting as if you do. Fans are always the harshest on their own. Doesn't mean they would be garbage to other teams. Between the two we could perhaps package the picks to get our 4th back. No sense in getting all bent out of shape and salty over a couple of hypotheticals. Just because you don't see any value, personally, it doesn't mean some team doesn't.

I didn't think much of McCluster before we signed him, but somebody on this staff did. Sankey has had some flashes and we simply will not know his true worth until we put a solid OL on the field. Same thing goes for Cobb. People like to bash him, but what can he do if the OL doesn't create any holes for him to run through? This fanbase really loves to eat their own.

No way. stick at 15 and take Conklin or Decker (probably Decker - it's looking more like Conklin has some liabilities)

Call the Trade Game Won. And Focus on picks and draft scenarios
