A guard at ten is such a boring pick.

It may be boring but that is how you win championships. If you want to be sucessfull you have got to build your Oline and Dline first!

not if you believe our run game is non existent without a top Guard prospect.

i think we can gamble on a defensive stud at 10 and still land a top Guard in the 2nd round.

See, the question I have with the Cooper mocks is that he screams left guard. He's quick, agile, and can get to the second level, a la LeVitre. I've seen analysts say he can play all three interior positions but he was primarily a LG in college. I still think if we go guard at #10 it is Warmack due to his brute strength and size.

I'm not a Cooper hater, but I would much rather have Warmack. I like his physicality and he definitely an ogre and we have been working hard to fix the run game. Match made in heaven.

So do these guys actually have info or are they going with the most trendy pick? My guess is the latter. Everyone knows a Guard is a need for us but it's interesting so many have us going a position that usually doesn't go in the top 10.

If warmack is available at #10 and we take cooper ahead of him, I will be VERY pissed off!

You just gave the argument why not to pick Warmack without even knowing it. All things being equal or close to equal, you always take the guy who is more versatile. There is a good chance that Cooper may become a stud starting center for us he is just that athletic. Also, as long as we are running zone concepts, we need a mobile guy who can reach the 2nd level quickly and that screams Cooper. If you're talking the Eddie George/Jeff Fisher days of the Titans then I agree, I'd rather have Warmack.
