From the time the Titans moved to TN, there hasnt been 1 WR i really liked.

I hope Britt can be our Randy Moss.

Top 10 WRS, TEs since the move to nashville 1998

The list is horrible and barely thought out of at all. It is rather amazing that half the players on a top 10 list were considered expendable and allowed to leave here. It's not a list of great players no doubt but if one wants to make such a list make it an honest one.

Methodology-Take the top 2 receivers WR or TE on the team each year in receiving yards and the top 2 in catches. Finishing in the top 2 in either category is worth a point. * denotes a player has finished in the top 2 in both categories. Rank is based on points.

    98: *Wycheck, thigpen, jackie harris

    99: *Dyson, thigpen, Wycheck

    2000: *Mason, *Wycheck

    2001: *Mason, Dyson, Wycheck

    2002: *Mason, bennett, Dyson

    2003: *Mason, *Mcareins

    2004: *Mason, *Bennett

    2005 *Bennett, Kinney, Troupe

    2006: *Bennett, Wade, Scaife

    2007: *Gage, *R Williams

    2008: *Scaife, Gage, B Jones

    1. Mason-10 points

    2. Bennett-7 points

    3. Wycheck-6 points

    4. Dyson-4

    5. Gage-3

    6. Scaife-3

    7. Thigpen-2 points

    8. R williams-2 points

    9. Mccareins-2 points

    10. Wade, Kinney, troupe, B Jones -1 point

Use whatever tie breakers you want, time of service or total yards whatever. It is not an impressive list to say the least but an honest one and far superior to a list that includes berlin. If britt finishes in the top 2 in both catches and yards this year he imediately jumps into the top 10. Doesn't say much but there it is.

And it seems most people dog on Scaife... and look, he's the 6th best Titans receiving WR/TE ever!

If he has another good season we need to keep him!

Bo and Cook should be the TE's after this year....Alge will be gone and Stevens should get cut. He is not that impressive...Cook can block just as well as he can.

Where do you get that? You made it up. Cook didn't line up on the line much of the time he was like a slot WR. Stevens can line up on the line and block.

That's part of the plan they got a blocker in stevens and now they have a receiver in cook. Both guys do well what the other doesn't and vice versa.

they are not going to give sciafe the $5M a year contract he wants. Not after using back to back picks on stevens and cook.

    But we could.

From a salary cap perspective we'll have the room. The salary cap increased a ton this year. It's pretty unknown what will happen in the future but I seriously doubt there will be any decrease.

For those TE picks to be worth it, those picks better be remarkably better than Scaife.

The front office is scared to bring in big name receivers. Maybe Jeff Fisher is scared to deal with top receiver ego.

Cook is Scaifes replacement. Personally, I'd prefer Scaife over Crumpler. We could have Scaife and Cook. Scaifes blocking is adequate. He's pretty well rounded and in our offense a very important part.
