  1. Draft Countdown has us taking Carriker, but I'm not too sure the titans will be pick him if we had the chance, at the start of the year, when we were looking likely to draft in the top 5, Gaines Adams was a favorite option...

Carriker might make the most sense of the DEs left when we pick.
The problem with most of these DEs (when you get past Gainses and Anderson) is they are fast but not physical against the run. Carriker is more of a 3-4 end than a 3-4 OLB where many of the top DEs are more like 3-4 OLB. We don't need another LaBoy who is only a pass rush specialist we need an every down guy. The only issue with Carriker is can KVB switch sides without losing any of his effectiveness. If they think he can then Carriker is a great choice IMO.

I personally prefer Victor Abiamiri. From what I'm hearing down in Mobile, he's been very impressive. As for Carriker, Gruden has been talking of him being more of a Tackle than end and has been getting a lot of reps there too. Even though there is a lot of depth this year at DE, after Adams and Anderson, things get complicated as Soxcat pointed out.

  4. If Moses fell to the titans #19 pick, do you think they will draft him ahead of Carriker, if KVB can switch sides effectively?...

He has? I've only seen him line up as a DE and he's been one of the best in the drills. Abiamiri has had some good matches against Levi Brown (arguably top 2 tackle this year) and looks good.

Okoye has been amazing passrushing at DT though, he's got speed and moves, but I think he's too small to hold up against bigger linemen in the rungame.

What about Charles Johnson? He's a big time sleeper imo (and better than his teammate)

The first round is not about sleepers it's about impact.

Thanks buddy, I mean sleeper for a 1st round pick as in he could potentially be a top 10 pick but his stock is still staying a little low

Carriker, Abiarmi, Adams, J Anderson, all looking good, with Victor being the lowest

Spencer, Bazuin, and Ray McDonald would all be great 2nd-3rd rounders if we go S or WR in Rd 1 as well
