The top of the list doesn't really surprise me since those are QB's, but the bottom names? Tamba Hali $15.5 million and Cortland Finnegan $15 million?!?!?

Wow talk about good agents, those guys are no slouches, but come on, you telling me those 2 guys are worth a million dollars a game?

Finnegan's 2013 figure is so high because the Rams front-loaded the deal. His number is way more manageable in future years.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe many people on this forum are advocates of front-loading deals when the Titans can afford it. Not really fair to call out the Rams for it in this case. You can argue Finnegan isn't worth the money, but the technical structure of the contract was smart.
    JCBRAVE high fives this.

15 million... laughable. He is worth maybe 1/3 of that.

That's almost 1 million per game!!!!

    Kudos for knowing that.

I just looked at his figures over the years, its still a little high overall, but not as bad as it looked 10 mins ago.

frontloaded or not. he is not worth 15 million in any season. His services are worth 1-200,000 dollars max per game. Football players have it made. Baseball players and hockey players make significantly less than that per year, and play 70+ games per season.

Well see heres the thing, he signed that contract in 2012, he's going to have one of the higher contracts for a CB for maybe 2 or 3 years, by then everything evens out and he's paid more in line with what youre saying.

Collectively our Offense is the most expensive in the entire league. That may be worse considering we got nothing out of them last year.

That is bad when you consider we do not have a QB making a big salary o_O
