If Schwenke can't get it done, Tommy Smith could be our new center!
It should be noted that the article said Smith was President and CEO and not our new owner. It also said that The two daughter and his grandson were going to decide on a new ownership style so my guess is once they do they will be HBIC and not Smith.
As head coach of the Titans for more than 16 seasons, Jeff Fisher had plenty of dealings with the man now calling the shots for the franchise.
In a conference call with reporters on Tuesday, the Rams coach said Tommy Smith is a good businessman.
Smith, who was named the Titans’ new president and chief executive officer on Tuesday, worked with the franchise for a stretch when Fisher was head coach from 1994-2010.
Smith takes over for his father-in-law, Bud Adams, who died last week at age 90.
“Tommy for a number of years was very active in a day-to-day basis. He’s a good businessman and an outstanding communicator,” Fisher said. “We wouldn’t be having this conversation today if it weren’t for Bud and the entire family. I know Tommy had some say in the decision there when I was retained as a head coach. I am very grateful to Tommy but I think Tommy will do a great job.”
Fisher’s Rams (3-5) play host to the Titans (3-4) on Sunday at noon.

I always liked McClain in his spots on 104.5 so I followed him on Twitter. He was generally fine up until this season. He FREAKS out when the Texans are losing and floods your timeline. I remember week 1 when they were getting their butts kicked by the Chargers. He probably tweeted 30-40 teams. Just being a huge crybaby and overreacting BIG TIME. Talking about how awful they were and how they might as well just throw in the towel. Yeah, they came back and won the game.
I've unfollowed him as well now.
Maybe he plans on eating the other teams on gameday?
