I am aware of the rule. I remember reading about it, I just think it is a bad rule. Especially when there are teams that nobody cares about. I think two late night Packers-Bears games would be better for NFl fans than being forced to see AFC South teams on a big night. I think every night game should be flex-schedulable. There is no good reason that two no-fan-base teams that are in the bottom 5 in the league should be playing in a primetime game, period. Teams like the Titans and Jags do not belong there. I have come to grips that 12 noon is the Titans time to play.

NFL can push and push these crap franchises to the public.. but it's not going to work.. it's only going to hurt them. If you are an NFL owner, and want primetime games.. then field a team that fans want to watch. Especially towards the last half of the season, you want to see contenders play. Not bottom feeders like HOU-JAX.

    Houston wins tonight.

Do not need Teddy Bridgewater along with Andrew Luck in this division. Hope Minnesota gets the first pick :brow:

The primetime rule is like making the school moron the Valedictorian for the day.

This game is going to be like the time we played Houston a super-sloppy game at LP field when they wound up getting the #1 pick overall and we got the #3. It was an obvious suck-fest of football. I remember their kicker Kris Brown shanking kicks from the 20 for a game winner. There was also a bunch of fumbled snaps etc. It was as if neither team wanted to win the game. (Which IMO probably was the case.)

The Texans were better at sucking than we were. They got the #1 pick. I expect us to see these same 2 win teams looking to out-suck the other for that higher pick.

Coincidentally Bridgewater is playing tonight at the same time as these 2 teams.
