This team of ours better get a little deeper in the wide receiver department, regardless of how well Hunter and company do. Michael Preston is no Damian Williams. Now that we're a rich team since saving all that CJ-use-to-play-Johnson money, I'm sure we can afford another decent wide-out or two, as mentioned above by some of the more intelligent fans here on this site.
Fantasy football sleeper alert
One WR doesn't make a team, but I'm hoping Coach Jefferson is right about this kid. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do playing full time.
Yea but one wr can put a team over the hump
I had him on my team last year, but he pretty much rode the bench. I'll be taking him in the last round this year. I have high hopes for Hunter, and if he shows his worth I'll be picking up his jersey.
Same here. I had him active for the Oakland game by some miracle.
Speaking of getting his jersey... Hunter wearing 2 this year??
That pics from last year. #2 for 2nd round. Besides WRs cant wear #2.
That is the question...
For a receiver to reach his potential and become great , really three things are needed:
1 - the potential and physical tools needed to get there
2 - the right scheme / system / coaches / offense to help him get there
3 - a consistent QB to build him up during his early years
these three points aren't as vital for an AJ Green or Megatron type receiver who is practically already a star, for those who still need work, they really do make a difference.
1 isn't a problem. 2, and especially 3, however have seemingly been a problem for us for quite some time...
