Mariani has been targeted 4 times and caught 3 of them. Not sure how you can expect miracles from someone when they touch the ball 3 times in 3 games. He should see more touches now but time will tell. He is in his second year, not that many recievers are pro-bowlers their sophmore(NFL) year. You just have to give him some time to mature in the pro game and you will see what he can do.

If he was open, he would get the ball more. Matt Hass has made that clear. He throws to the open receiver, marc is only getting the ball on screens and quick passes. Obviously he isnt trusted enough to run downfield. Just like Hawks balls are normally 7-12 yd completions. He's not a down field receiver, hes a possession guy. The coaches are putting players in their suitable positions. If Marc shows something, he'll get a shot.

And ive started to notice something. We've all, myself included, have been comparing Hawk to Dwill, but i think it should stop. There two different players. Hawk is the shifty slot guy while Dwill is a #2 receiver. Probably why he wasnt getting many opportunities when Kenny was in. With Nate at 1, DWill at 2 and Hawk at 3, everyone is at their most effective position. So im hoping we should see them all flourish.

ps: Nate definitely isn't a #1 but on this team he is.

He'd be a hall of famer if he were in Reggie Wayne's shoes. It's all about who's throwing to you.

Nate has one of the worst drop percentages in the league this past 3 or so years, it's not just about whos throwing to you.

Well Andrew Luck is gonna need a HOF coach like Fisher and a HOF QB like Kerry to mentor him.
