For one, that contract is ridiculous. I think they offered in the 40s and that was perfect. We could have resigned in 2007, but the guy was Pacman status in 2007. He's lucky he wasn't CUT.

Two, people really exaggerate and in effect, overrate Haynesworth. The guy benefited more off the depth on our line. There were times where the line looked great, and I scanned the field and Albert wasn't on the field. It seems like the trainers had to help him off the field (not saying it wasn't legit) every other game. And I can safely say he was rather mediocre prior to his 2007 contract & 2008 franchised year....... any Pro Bowls? Andre Gurode? Kicking Hartwig in practice? The guy was letting his talent go to waste until he was financially motivated.

I won't miss him for the money Snyder threw at him. I trust Washburn and Fisher. We may not have had a challenge yet, but we're not still atop the league stopping the run by coincidence.

^ After 2 weeks, sadly true. But I'll give Cecil a little more time to do his job.

Haynesworth has like 5 tackles this season.

    ...

Sorry. He's not as great as ESPN makes you think he is.

You're kidding yourself... Didn't you see Haynesworth make Flacco look like the rookie he is in the playoffs? AH was all over him, and Big Al single-handedly won that game for us.

:suspect: oh wait, never mind... I forgot we lost that game and Big Al did squat. Sorry - I gotta lay off the ESPN.

Oh yeah...if the defensive line coach says they miss him...then why are you still arguing about it. Shouldn't he know more than you?

Good job. You proved he had one season with good numbers. Doesn't make anything I said moot. You might be the one fooling yourself.
