Fair enough but with CJ still there And the way RBs are tossed to the side so quickly, I find it a bit of a stretch too that if we had kept Blount 7 years ago, we wouldn't have pursued Murray last year. Sooooo many other factors that changed the entire direction of this team.

We could even make the argument that keeping Blount keeps fisher another year or keeps Webster another year and then JRob isn't in place to pursue Murray so it was a good thing we let Blount go.

 

True enough but it was just a what if comment that as usual someone took too serious. Blount had alot of issues with Pitt and he may not have lasted here but he may have been an annual 1000 yd back as well, who knows.

Guys if he is that good, how'd every team in the league miss him in 7 rounds? I like the optimism though.

 

Was not commenting on the player, was letting everyone know I received a text message last week.

 

He's not a good pass rusher and DT's who don't rush the passer well get knocked down the board...a lot. I was surprised how far Qualls and a few others went and not a ton of teams are trying to draft run stuffing NT's.

I like him but couldn't say for sure he'll make the team. But Williams and Johnson are question marks which means he has a chance...especially if what I read is true (that Williams got pushed around last year at NT). Looks like we definitely brought in some UDFA talent to compete.
