this isn't the 70's anymore, things have changed. But you go right ahead living in the past

i wasnt even around in the 70's, so i have no clue how things were like back then. but i do know that things like this whole pac situation have been going on since the beginning of pro sports, but thanks to 24-7 sports coverage they now get a hell of a lot more coverage than they used to.

babe ruth would go out and drink the night before games. and i mean DRINK. that was back in the day when prohibition was still active, so it was against the law. there were even reports that he ran through a train naked while a woman chased him with a knife, that doesnt change the fact that he is the best of all-time.

but you're right, i long for the past. i wish football was the way it was 30 years ago. back in the day when you could hit a WR going over the middle, when QBs didnt wear flags and when the rules didnt give the offense the benefit of the doubt just to score more points. phew...sorry about that little rant, i had to say it.

We cant afford to suspend him, hes been shutting down #1 WRs all year, and just got going on returns, we cant lose him when hes making this big of improvements

yes we can. We are 2-5 and winning 4 games all yr with him. With out him we are about the same.

if you think we're the same with woolfolk on the field over pac, then you're

Being better has nothing to do with it. It's about a coach keeping control of his team. If you wanted better we would have kept Volek and been 4-3 or 5-2 now, but Fisher took the path to rebuilding this year, and he is going to do it his way. The NFL is a huge business right now, and they could care less about Pacman and whether the Titans win or lose without him. They want professionals on and off the field. Look at NASCAR now.....you don't see any more "good ole boys" driving, it's all young guys that are marketable. This is a business before it's a sport now, and people have to adapt.

im not saying he should or shouldnt play. im saying bongo is wrong when he says "without him we are about the same." when in fact we are far weaker.

look at the colts game. he was out for ONE play and woolfolk managed to give up a td. i dont even want to think about what it will be like for an entire game.

  10. If suspending Pacman sends him a message to shape up off the field, then I'd gladly sacrifice a few games this year (as if we're a playoff team with him).

They guy is a good CB. But he is a problem off the field and they need to get it fixed.

LenDale got 1 for spitting on a teammate in practice. Pacman spit on a woman in a public place that has resulted in legal trouble. Big difference...
