Well, he is from a Michigan school
CB at 5 would be absurd.. ludicrous..
A) there is no elite CB worth #5
B) in the top 30, CB may very well be the deepest position.. Teez, Wilson, Humphrey, Jones, Adoree, Lattimore.. expand to top 50, you have King, Conley, Tankersley
This will cause some good CBs to slip because teams will pick some players from a weaker position pool.. that happens all the time..
Now I know we may zone in on "our guy" instead of just wanting any CB. But plenty of those guys I mentioned will be available at 18. Or even a trade down and they'll still be around. I really like Sidney Jones and Marshon Lattimore. Those 2 will certainly be around at 18. I bet 1 of Teez/Wilson is also around at 18
If we're going DB at #5 it better be a safety... two top-10 talents this year in Adams and Hooker, imo.
Corey Davis seems like a good guy....
I don't think we're keeping the 5 pick
I'd be okay with that
I'd rather trade the 18 and pick up a 2nd
would Hooker and Byard make sense? aren't both free safety's?
yeah, i think its a blessing that we''re needy at corner. we could keep are 5th pick and get an elite player, trade down from 18 and still get an awesome corner and get a 2nd round pick and draft another awesome corner lol. or good inside backer , whatever. All depending on free agency of course, o and by the way i'm back on the Pryor bandwagon at receiver . i think after all he is a hard worker as i originally thought , though he rubs some the wrong way , i guess you may really be a solid guy if pacman hates you. lol
I agree on the CB points but I would stay the hell away from Pryor...Only played WR for 1 year and doesn't seem like a good teammate..I doubt JRob goes after him
