    Again. No debate.

Vince Young gives us the best chance to win. THis is a clear example of what I'm talking about. Attack the poster instead of actually debate.

Unfortunately this franchise already looks bad in the eyes of peers around the league. Lets be realistic.. unless the titans keep VY or get a good enough starter the titans are geared towards top ten draft picks because we now officially have the worst QB rotation in the afc south.. maybe even the league... plain and simple, no qb = no superbowl..

He doesn't care. He just wants to be right. I can't tell you the last time he's actually debated football. Unlike you, and most other posters, there's some guys who are just here to stir sh*t up.

I want to win no matter who is at what position. VY or no VY. If there's a better option go get him. There's not right now and there won't be after the labor issues are settled.

VY is a safety net. Any more issues and his contract is up anyway. Draft a rookie QB, let VY finish his contract, and draft to fill our defensive holes.

I agree.. and if I were Bud I wouldn't want to throw another season away.. I do not think he has time for a young QB to develop.. Time to start taking some risks..

I really believe, this is a case of taking one step back to move two forward. As it looks right now, we have no shot, no QB, new head coach, etc. The new head coach has a direction, he has a plan. He knows what kind of attitude he wants not only in the locker room, but throughout the building. Now we need a 2 QBs who fit that model, a rookie and a vet. I fully believe if we can land Orton, possibly Kolb (though I would only offer a 2nd), that we can compete next year. The difference being that for the first time in a very long time, this team will have a direction that is clear throughout the building. Everyone said when Vick was arrested and Petrino quit, that the Falcons would be stuck in a rebuilding mode. What happened? They hired a coach with a direction, drafted a franchise QB, and have been in the playoffs 2 out of 3 years since. Vick looked in the mirror and realized what he needed to do to become elite, and did it. I have no doubt VY will too....But just like with Vick, that won't happen here with Bud looking out for him. Just like it's still hard for some FAlcon's fans to watch Vick succeed, it will be hard for some Titans fans as well, but it has to happen. Both the Falcons and Vick are better off, both the Titans and VY will be too...
    2 people high five this.

We've also got to remember that players want to win a championship too. If we suck next year, we could start to lose some of our big names.

Who wants to play for an average QB?

We won't suck next year...there is talent on this team...and a list of QBs who could come in and compete for a playoff birth with our roster...Kolb, Orton, McNabb (yes he is on the downside, but give him Britt, Cook, and CJ and he can compete) to name a few....let's give Munchak and staff the benefit of the doubt. He spoke yesterday about a fresh attitude and energy in the building, let's give him a chance and see what he does before we start talking about how bad we will be.

This. Why throw away a shot at winning a title NOW. If Young works out, we could shoot for winning multiple titles.

Why no? Because an announcement was made prematurely?

Yeah, you personally call me and Alex out, but a response is "an attack".

Here's your debate.. Don't you really think the only "guarantee" VY would bring in 2011 would be more of the same me-first, locker-room dividing, legendary-lack-of-work-ethic, can't nobody tell me nothing, diva drama with 8 games on IR. This is exactly what the team needs to move past to improve as a whole.

This team just purged a bunch of this nonsense, VY and Fisher inclusive. Reintroducing the poison only makes the team sick again.

A branch with blight may be taller than any other branch but it must be pruned for the tree itself to truly prosper.

But do you see us winning a championship with those guys? And that was an honest question, I know we have a talented team.
