Also... aside from Punt Returns... a return man is simply a position you don't really waste a lot on, unless you have a GREAT returner. They are worth less than running backs, by far. The return specialist is on its way out, thanks to Goodell's rules.

Have we actually had a successful return this season over 5 yards without a flag or a turnover?

    Serious question.

I'm sure you weren't complaining when we were scoring a number of return TD's in 2012. Remember the trick punt Lowry drew up for a TD against the Lions or the kick return for TD? Or the 2 punt return TD's against the Jags by.. you guessed it Reynaud?

No doubt Lowry was a 10x better coach than what we have now.

There were actually people on this board that thought firing Alan Lowry was a good idea.

I remember thinking it was stupid at the time.

    Now it feels mind boggling.

Just add it to the list I guess.

    Wha-really?

Ok, you got me. Changing ST coaches had nothing to do with going from multiple returns for touchdowns (some on his trick plays)...

.... to barely being able to return the ball back to the 20.

I take it you were one of those people that supported his firing?
