Meh, it's a 1 year deal. Let Washington and Mariani battle it out in camp. Cut the one that doesn't make it.

I usually hate white receivers (im white) but Mariani is my dude. Camp battle for sure. I don't think we keep both Leon and Marc.

    Hands of gold???

He was a **** WR. I like him too but he was horrible, every chance given at WR during the regular season. His hands are far from gold and his only value was at returning.

That being said, glad we got him for another year, to compete.

Classy dude. He deserves another check from this team considering he got shafted last year. Hopefully he makes the team.

Granted playing is nice, but he got paid for nothing last season didnt he? (not that I agreed with the move to IR him for the season)

Seriously? Why? I do like the guy, honestly I do, but as a football decision I just don't get it. The guy has been given all kinds of chances to contribute as a WR but he can't get on the field. He's a good returner, not great but solid. But why sign him after re-signing Washington and bringing in McCluster? Not to mention that he'll probably never be as fast as he was based on that injury. Hurt or not, the guy has been getting a good paycheck for two years now, it's time to let him test the waters elsewhere.
