Can anyone find any video of this guy?

 

It's not just this move folks. There are better ends available out there that'd have a better shot of having impact. However, they might cost more than league minimum, so we wont even look their way. Jacob Ford was a mini-Kearse. He had potential, he was just undersized. Who is this guy? Is there any potential?
It's just another body in a titans jersey. And it's frustrating.

 

I'm sorry but the coaches get paid to evaluate potential, not you. If they see something in a guy who dominated his league last year facing constant double teams and netting 12 sacks then I trust them over you who has no reason whatsoever for us to dislike this move. Just sayin.

 

I would think that being the defensive MVP in NFL Europe (excuse me - Europa... just feel silly saying that) indicates some good potential. May not translate - but it's a good sign. I actually think this move indicates that they are still serious about landing a vet DE - they were looking at doing that before Jacob's injury anyway. Teams sign guys like this all the time just to fill space on the practice field because they need to spread the reps. Sometimes they work out well enough to stick, and a guy that's spent time with the Bills and Panthers and shined in NFLe might just do that. Even if they don't pick up anyone else, Odom, Conover and Tony Brown all looked really good. If we can get that kind of pressure with the guys we have, I'd be fine with just using that money on extending some key players.

dangermode - maybe you haven't noticed, but half this board is better at evaluating talent than our coaching staff is. But you keep that trust, maybe they'll hire you.
