The Tyler Rose.
Hands Down, the best running back we've ever had. :thumb:
Someone is overly touchy. Just because you don't share the same opinion does not make you know more. it wasn't disrespect either. Eddie & Earl were great and fan faves. CJ hasn't hit the fan fave like they did yet. However the numbers don't lie so far CJ has better first 4 years than they have. Look I do think CJ is the best we ever had so far but Earl is my personal fave. Relax. The yelling and trying to belittle another person isn't helping just because you disagree.
First of all Chris Johnson has played 3 seasons, way to early to call him the best in Titan/Oiler history.
1 of those seasons was phenomenal.
2 of them are seasons that have been done many many times by other running backs.
He needs to do a hell of a lot more to pass Earl Campbell who at the same time in his career had almost 500 more yards.
Check your numbers. You are wrong.
Mainly because CJ has played 3 years and Earl has 500 more yards then he has at the same stage.
Eddie is certainly debatable. But it's wayyyyyyy too early to be declaring him better than Hall of Famer Earl Campbell. CJ had one great season and two very good ones. I swear that 2K season really has done a number on a lot of you. I know it can be hard to put the homerism aside at times. But CJ is by no means a sure fire hall of a famer or a "one in a generation" back. At least not at this point in time.
Might also add that some consider Earl to be the best ever at his position.
ok so 4 was a typo I have trouble typing due to hand s shake. However CJ still had 800 yards in one month NFL record. Most all purpose yards in one season NFL record. 2006 yardss Franchise record.
Yes. And, that'll make CJ want to stay.
LOL. I'm sure there are very few here who saw Earl play. I did, and he was better than CJ. Period.
Earl Campbell played 15 games the year he rushed for 1934 yards. CJ would still be chasing his record if he played that final game.
