Ok, I'll play along with your game. Do you remember when his name was being brought up as a first rounder? Or how many thought he wouldn't even last to our pick? Well I do, and when I watched what film was available I didn't understand how the guy had such a high grade. If I recall correctly you said you were a high school coach, so I would like to think that you would be able to see that his tackling is an issue better than most.

The mind also sees the obvious. Why are you defending him so much? We're all going to support him regardless of what is said.

How would I have evidence that the kid can tackle? I'm a high school coach from Memphis. That doesn't make me qualified to grade prospects.

Tell me how that is not a poorly executed tackle. TONS and TONS of "youtube" videos can be found on this guy.

Oh and check out a comment from three months ago.

"this guy is absolutely horrible. miss tackles, poor angles, poor coverage. even the one big hit he had he didnt wrap. and this was their bowl game?? way to show up"

Well really look at all of the comments, they all say the same thing.

Obviously there is a written "proof"... just got to dig through the NFL draft section.

Know more in what regards? I'll say this again.... take the 30 players selected after us in the 2nd and 3rd round each year and put them on a dart board. Throw dart. Your results will equal or improve upon our selection.

People act like the draft is harder than running the country or learning how to break the atmosphere and go into space... it's really not that complicated.

I'll always defend people's rights to post opinions even if I disagree with them. Why are you here if you don't want to read fan's opinions? If your philosophy is "wait and see" then there is no point in reading a fan forum.

I guess every draft pick thread should have 1 post... wait and see.

    Exactly

Everyone has seen his tackling issues and we are thankful that it is something that can be fixed.

I'm more concerned with who we could have picked than reviews on Brown.

The reality is that we picked Brown even though we didn't need a LB. We're looking at him with what means we have. Your conceited view of our debate just makes you come off like a dick.

It's fine to disagree. How 'you' choose to go about it though detracts from your argument.

...and that's a valid argument because you can take one look at our roster and come to the conclusion that we need players at X position. I personally wanted Konz.

    No way?! Are you serious?!

That is why everyone is discussing it. So we should just not talk about this guy until he hits the field? Sounds like a boring off season, go back to the TOMB, they practice that there.

    Aren't we debating now?

It's been pretty intriguing the past couple of days.

Some of my best tacklers have had bad games. A couple of bad games actually over the years.

Reasons? Personal stuff. Not feeling well. Didn't have a good practice week. School. Girls. Friends. There were times when I as a coach put them in bad situations.

This is why you can't look at these videos on YouTube and come to a conclusion. I watched one clip of two games. Another of one game. Was that his entire career? Absolutely not.
