I really see him as a coverage lb. he will be able to cover the TE.
apparently the Titans are counting on their ability to 'coach up' physical play on the D.
It is not something I am counting on - just sayin'
Ha that's funny, if scouting prospects is mainly watching a few three minutes youtube videos. Than everyone on here can be a NFL scout.... oh wait you guys already do when you know nothing.
Anyone not blind can see the argument against this guy.
No everyone is not. Some of us can watch clips (OMG but they are not from the god angle! ) and some of us watch college football on a regular basis! You know, they show highlights of college games on ESPN, right?
Would you care to tell me how many games you watch of our prospects over the past two-three years. Then tell me even more how closely you watch guys like Wright, Brown, Martin, Sensabaugh every little detail over the last two-three years. Yeah not much, that is what the scouts do, their film is different from tv. Not because of this so called "god angle" but because their is more than one film. Anyone who played the sport and watch film knows that. I use to spend a week myself watching film on the guy across from me on the line. Because they film not the whole game, but they film parts. The lineman would have a film, the secondary would have a film, and so on. It's funny how some people on here who thinks they know what they are talking about when it comes to prospects. If you watch Zac Brown play from the limited about of film on youtube, you'll see a kid who flys to the ball and usually having to tackle from behind from having to run sideline to sideline. Their is a collective 15mins top on this kid on youtube, and people are claiming how bad is tackling is because of what they hear. Make your judgement calls when it comes to see him play in the NFL where you can actually see him play because I'm willing to bet 95% never seen this kid play (including myself) a significant amount of time.
I guarantee if that clown on NFL Network hadn't said he was "allergic to contact" you guys wouldn't have drawn that conclusion from your little YouTube film session.
The mind sees what it's trained to see. You went to YouTube to confirm that clown's comments.
...and now here we are.
I can end this easily for you.
Go look at our 2nd and 3rd round draft history since the Titans became the Titans. Then tell me how fans shouldn't be allowed to give their opinions on draft picks because the FO had extra camera angles to view.
Nobody's claiming that the FO has missed before. I'm also not claiming that we hit on this guy. Look back on my posts.
However, since there's no proof - written down or physical - of the "fan's" picks, your argument is invalid.
And to suggest that fans know more from watching YouTube and highlights on ESPN than any scout, GM, or coach in the country is idiotic to say the least.
You guys are mistaking my argument of a wait and see approach instead of jumping to YouTube and talking head conclusions as saying this guy is going to be a superstar. That's simply not the case. I have no idea. Neither do the rest of you.
I find that hard to believe; considering that you are yet to provide evidence that Brown can tackle on the next level, aside from ignorantly accepting everything the FO does because of whats in their job description.
