How in the world did this thread become a Texas vs Michigan battle???

As for being faster than Ford, I don't think that there is a soul out there that truely believes that. A better WR than Ford, ok. But faster....don't think so.

Don't get me wrong, I like Shipley's game. Looks smooth, good hands and can return kicks. He'd be a good value pick in the later rounds.

Shipley will make a big contribution to whatever team drafts him, both as WR and return guy, unless their coaches are idiots. Jordon is a very good football player, can't ever have too many of those guys on your team. I'd take him in the third in a heartbeat.

Shipley is the guy to get. Ford's feet move faster than his hands can, he'll drop more balls leading to him getting decapitated by us.

    WhooooO!!

All that bragging while your team has like 5 more players in the league this year than the struggling Wolverines do.

    Think about it....

And you guys are the football state, and you can still barely get anymore out of your homegrown recruits.

    Think about it....

I asked you about Texas receivers- you come back with Quan Cosby (whotf?) and Roy Williams.

    Think about it....

How many hall of famers on that list? None?

    Yeah. We've got those too.

Your claim to fame is Ricky Williams. Child please.

You've got that long list and 3 of them are good. That's it.

Come back with a list of GOOD Texas players in the NFL currently, since that's the debate. And please... entertain me with more receivers that no one has heard of than the bust Roy Williams.

I love how I prove you wrong and you change the argument to meet your needs.

So unless a Texas player is a HOF then I can't brag about him?

Some would consider Casey Hampton a HOF player. Most of the Texas guys are pretty young. BTW who are the active HOF guys from meat chicken? I looked at the ESPN list and it was pretty weak.

I wouldn't call Ricky Williams our claim to fame, he did however have a damn good year as did Jamal Charles, Leonard Davis, Cedric Benson, Vince Young, Jermichael Finley, Cory Redding, Jonathan Scott, Lyle Sendlin, Brian Orakpo, Justin Blalock, Tarell Brown, Phil Dawson, Cedric Griffin, Roy Miller, and Casey Hampton.

BTW still waiting for that list of 50 meat chicken players from 2008?

    I changed the argument? ME?

I asked for you to list good Texas WRs... you come back with a list of all Texas NFL players... and only a few being good.

    lol

    Help your case...

In other words, he's not going to the Titans.

Sure. We've actually got pro-bowlers and a Hall of Famer or 2.

    Jamar Adams
    Adrian Arrington
    B.J. Askew
    Jason Avant
    David Baas
    Jeff Backus
    Tom Brady
    Alan Branch
    Steve Breaston
    Prescott Burgess
    Carson Butler
    Shawn Crable
    Doug Dutch
    Braylon Edwards
    Jay Feely
    Larry Foote
    Jonathan Goodwin
    James Hall
    Leon Hall
    David Harris
    Mike Hart
    Chad Henne
    Steve Hutchinson
    Marlin Jackson
    Tim Jamison
    Jon Jansen
    Dhani Jones
    Ty Law
    Jake Long
    Rueben Riley
    Adam Stenavich
    Terrance Taylor
    Morgan Trent
    Gabe Watson
    LaMarr Woodley
    Pierre Woods
    Charles Woodson

That's what? 5 players or so less than Texas has?... and Michigan actually has to recruit- not all their players grow in their back yard.

Neither stands up to UTs player list.

    Nor murder record.

    Nor prison length.
