Without Colt McCoy he lit up Alabama, you know the team that won the MNC. A true freshmen with almost no practice time was able to hit Shipley for 10 catches for 122 yards and 2 TDs, his longest in that game was 44 yards.

Two years ago he almost single handedly beat Oklahoma with 11 catches for 122 yards and 1 TD receiving and 1 on a kickoff return.

Like I said, we might draft him, but likely won't, we will however hate him everytime we play his team and he keeps moving the chains.

Hell why not just field a team without DEs and DTs since picking em is a waste.. Looks like we're gonna go 0-16 yet again..

Oh... It's the Texas fan that only likes the Titans because of Bo Scaife, Michael Griffin, and Vince Young.

3 guys that we'd be just fine without.

You overhype Texas players every year. Enough already. We get it.

He went 8-2 last year so Vy is cool, if we can get Shipley for with our 2nd 3rd round pick after we draft two defensive players, I'd be just fine with that.

I would rather have Jacoby Ford than Jordan Shipley.

haha this coming from the meat chicken fan who wants the Titans to draft all meat chicken players.

BTW when again was the last time Michigan was good at football?

Do me a favor, do a quick search on how many Texas players are currently getting a paycheck in the NFL.

43 not counting the 8 that will be drafted this year. count how many are starters, my last count was around 25 of them.

You could take all the Texas players and make one hell of a dominating team.

Now remind me again why your not a Detroit Lion fan? Big 10 sucks at everything sports related.

Shipley is a better route runner
    Shipley has better hands
    Shipley is faster
    Shipley is a proven commodity

So why again would you rather have Jacoby Ford?

I see him as a 4th or 5th rounder. What you see is what you get and he has minimal upside beyond what he already shows. Personally, I think we should get someone a bit more athletic.

With our needs on the defensive side of the ball (and surprisingly pretty solid at WR) I can't see taking any WR before round 5 or later. We need players at CB, DL, and LB not to mention S. I could see all those spots going before a WR. We also needs a returner but I don't know if this kid satisfies that well enough (unlike Arenas who is a CB and STs guy). I do think he can be a decent player in the right system. Watch the Colts take him in the 3rd round and make a stud out of him.

I'd love to have Shipley. He reminds me of a Wes Welker type.
