Rumor Titans rumors re: Munchak, CJ, Cutler

There is no reason for CJ to accept a restructured contract. If he gets cut, he is a free agent and can negotiate with 31 other teams.

The real hope in these rumors is the prospect of jettisoning Munchak and getting a jump on the available head coaching candidates out there.

Looking forward to see you run behind a competent NFL O-line and for a coaching staff that isn't taking the short bus to games.

We are on the verge of getting a new QB and head coach and we still arguing over if CJ is still an elite back or not.....

- Indifferent about Munch getting fired, I would say it isn't fair because Locker went down but at the same time, he hasn't shown any promising signs of being a great coach...it's not just x's and o's, he just doesn't seem to have "it", and by "it", I mean he's not a guy I believe can rally the troops and really make a player be willing to die on the field for you.

- I'm ok with bringing in Cutler a.it's a short contract and b. he's the best QB available.

- CJ is on one of the worst contracts in the league. I'm sure he'll will have a couple of 70 yard runs before the season is over in a meaningless game, get his average up and "fans" here won't shut up about it.

 

We need this team to get destroyed today. Seriously, it happens, we may fire Munch as soon as next week according to this NFL.com article. Why go 2-2 and have this same crap over again. Why is WYATT hush hush on this, he usually hears this stuff first, so I am not getting my hopes up too much.

 

Man I was more excited than anyone when news broke of this. But the more I thought about Cutler, the more it reminds me of Locker. If we want to make this happen in the next few years, WE CANNOT HAVE ANOTHER SETBACK. If we knew Culter could be healthy great, but I would LOVE ME SOME LOVIE
