Titans release Jason McCourty

Not just 1 starting CB, our top 4 entering the season last year are now gone. McCourty, Blake, McCain, and Cox are all out the door.

We're going to have an entirely new secondary next season, save for Byard (who was one of the lone bright spots). If it doesn't get better, it's not for lack of trying.

Yeah, technically we should just be swapping our starting outside CBs. Cox was addition by subtraction, obviously.

I will still stick up for Blake, can anyone remember the TDs he gave up in the regular season?? Like i've said numerous times, he had a horrid pre-season, but didn't do anything poorly in coverage during the regular season.

 

Yeah his coverage wasn't anything to write home about, but he made some solid plays and good tackles.

His special teams play though was.... special.

 

Yeah lmao that's why i just spoke about his coverage. To make "come on man!" 3 times is some kind of dipsh1t.

 

You do know the draft is NEXT week, right?

 

And? Your faith in a rookie CB coming to save the day is refreshing. How's that worked so far?

 

Not well since we haven't had a 1st round CB since 2005. That just changed.

 

McCourty still on the market huh

 

Yet people are still praising him as a solid #2 CB. I think he'd be gone by now if that were the case.
