And for the record I think Troupe was just another victim of Fisher's "coaching".

Just like Jared Cook was on his way to being before Fish HAD to play him.

 

And that's why he never amounted to anything with anyone else. He didn't even catch a pass with the other two teams for which he played.

 

Ben Troupe was simply dumb.

He had more catches than words in his vocabulary.

 

Gotta disagree this time. Troupe got plenty of chances with us, he just couldn't block for sh*t.

 

He didn't get that much time. He seemed to produce the few times he saw the field... but Fish would make up the same sh about him as he did with Cook. "He's still learning the playbook blah blah blah"...

by time Troupe went else-where he was already damaged and done, I think.

 

He caught like 90 passes his first 2 years. I'd say he got chances...

 

Yeah, Dyson was a solid-goodish player who could have started on plenty of teams at the time, but it was also overlooked because he was the weakest link in our secondary with Rolle, Schulters, and Tank, who looked to be a really good player but eventually turned out to be a less talented Roy Williams.

 

Mason and Wycheck were very good. Dyson and Bennett were good for a limited time.

He definitely didn't have many weapons (to throw the ball to).
