Titans passed on Webb to draft Smith

While I agree with the absurdity of complaining about 6th round picks (and tend to think that Joe Webb will never be a full time starter in the NFL, I don't think it is that far fetched that people had heard of Joe Webb. UAB isn't too far down the road and I've had many opportunities to watch them on television. Also, he put up HUGE numbers. His name was generally a notch or two below Tebow's on any sort of "dual threat quarterback" list.

I also will say that I did comment that I would have liked to have seen Webb go to the Titans on draft day. I also said the same thing when the Bucs took Josh Johnson from San Diego. I like the idea of having a backup that can come in and not dictate total changes in the offense.
