Titans passed on Webb to draft Smith

You know your QB situation sucks when threads are being started about passing on a 6th round rookie with one start under his belt who has 0 passing TDs and 2 INTs.

 

seriously ? there've been quite a few gems lately.

 

Rusty Smith has to be the worst Qb in the NFL ,practice squads or free agents.

He even makes Joe Webb look good.

 

Amazing what one game on a tuesday night does for someone's name.

Had this guy played Sunday, no one would know his name... still.

 

Would love to have Webb start and Tebow come in for the Wildcat...:ha:

 

Speaking of Tebow he threw for over 300 yards in only his second start.
He also has a 100 QB rating this year with a long TD run. Not saying the kid has arrived yet but not bad numbers and definitely above expectations.

 

This coaching staff did not do Rusty Smith any favors either. 31 passes and 7 rushes for CJ.

Smith is a rookie but I guarantee you he is better than chris simms now!

They did nothing to help the kid, and one game he has been hammered to much for. The staff should take much of the blame for the bad game plan and play calls and then throw the kid away.

 

I actually expected it. Houston is the worst pass defense in NFL history. Titans and Texans started out 9-4 combined. They have a combine 2 wins since and that was against each other.

 

Pulling the race card ought to liven this thread up a bit...

The titans organization don't moon and Mcnair, but I sit around a bunch of people every week, that do and they say so all the time. That is sad but is a fact!
