Are we going play arm chair quarterback and sit around and ask why we didn't draft this guy?

Where were the Joe Webb threads last weekend when he played against the Bears?

Who cares that we passed one six round QB to draft another sixth round QB? Is that really how bad it as gotten here that we are complaining that sixth round picks didn't pan out the way we had hoped?

We saw Rusty Smith in one game. How is this even a discussion?

Webb was drafted as a WR...and even though he shows potential, he still made some pretty suspect throws and is no where near a lock to be good...

Rusty Smith sucks, but to be fair...

Joe Webb's first game (last week): 15/26 for 129 yards, 2 INTs, 38.8 passer rating
Rusty Smith: 17/31 for for 138 yards, 3 INTs, 26.7 passer rating

    Completion percentages are identical.

I mean, Joe Webb didn't really "beat" Philly, Philly pretty much gifted them points. (No advantage) And in a way, the numbers are comparable but there's more shame in Rusty's stats, considering everybody else torches Houston in the air. (Advantage Webb)

But all in all, they BOTH have identical performances when you give Rusty the same sample size, and surprise, surprise; they both looked like... 6th round draft picks.

I don't care if we passed on one or the other, they both suck and will never be more than an emergency starter. VY and Kerry are better than both by a mile. Stop living in the moment.
