SUMMARY: The Titans offense has not scored a touchdown in the last nine quarters. A few statistics show just how ineffective the offense has been. In the past two games, the Titans are 5-of-26 (19.2 percent) on third down. The longest reception by a wide receiver has been 18 yards. The running game averaged two yards a carry against the Colts and 3.1 against the Texans. Five to six touchdown passes have been dropped since the 21-point outburst in the third quarter of a 33-22 victory over the 49ers.

Jeff Fisher is the best sugarcoater in the NFL. Im wondering why he isnt working at a candy factory.:winker:

That said, Jeff sees things that the regular Joe fan doesnt see. Film room, practice, etc-we just might be getting better-slowly, very slowly.

when you have the ball on the 5 yd line and it is 1st and goal you should score a TD. In the Titans case they didn't even get a single yard and had to kick a FG..that is bad. Now if that happens only once out of 20 times you can overlook it but in the Titans case it is the norm

what did Chow say earlier in the year, Titans have good players they just need to learn how to play, or something like that. Seems like Chow needs to hold some special O classes to jump start this learning to play thing.

Who is the best WR in the upcoming draft?
It's getting pretty obvious that we don't have a WR right now that anyone has to gameplan for.

Derek Hagan, Senorice Moss, and Santonio Holmes seem to be getting the most hype. Doesn't look like any are top 10 or maybe even top 20 WR's.

Santonio Holmes is the only one with a great shot at the 1st round. A sleeper in the mid-rounds would be Demetrius Williams from Oregon. He won't wow you with great timed speed, but he's a legit deep threat, though he needs to work on his overall game.

Next year will be a great year for WR's with Calvin Johnson if he comes out and Dwayne Jarrett. And possibly Robert Meachem if he can fulfill his potential...but I won't get started on that....
