SUMMARY: Though RBs Chris Johnson and LenDale White combined for only 29 yards on 12 carries, Coach Jeff Fisher is not concerned about his offense's running game. The Bills "had a lot of people around line of scrimmage," Fisher said. "There was a lot of slanting, they were blitzing linebackers and blitzing safeties. Once we recognized that was going to be their approach we adjusted. What we look at, it’s not necessarily production per se, but it’s people in the right place and everybody working in sync in the run game." Johnson was stopped behind the line of scrimmage on three of his six carries. White had a TD in the game but only had a 2-yard average per run.

only thing he should be worried at all about run game wise is having someone at 3rd string RB if god forbid something happens to johnson again. Can't have another game where the offense completely stalls

i really do wish he would shut it... can't his stats do the talking? I'd much rather have a guy over perform than not live up to his own hype... and did you hear the man-love coming from Collinsworth? It was nice to hear an announcer/analyst say something positive about one of our players... but Collinsworth is such a douchebag... I'd rather hear critcism from him than praise...

I actually thought Johnson looked pretty good. The plays where he got stopped behind the line didn't seem like his fault. He got swarmed by defenders, probably due to missed blocks.

I didn't think he looked that bad either. Also with the shape that LW came to camp into, I have no concerns about him either. And, then throw in Javon Ringer, and we appear to have a very solid trio at the runningback position.

i think our passing game is going to be good enough to keep that 8th or 9th defender out of the box more often. CJ will ball

we seem to have a lot of effective short range passes, from alge to washington in the slot going in motion to the flats. LBs wont be able to sit right in the hole. CJ dominates this year

No surprise- CJ sucks when he doesn't have a 5 foot hole to hit. Not a guy that's going to break a tackle or many anyone miss in the backfield.
    He's a sprinter.

Hopefully if Lendale is more effective this year, we give him the bulk of the carries rather than just giving the carries to CJ because he MIGHT break a big one 1 in every 15 touches.
