I don't think 6 million a season for a 6 year yet (entering his prime at 28) who has averaged 7 sacks per season at a position of dire need (pass rush, the best left on the market) is expensive at all.

Honestly i didnt look over the details, but I certainly hope so to be honest.

Hes an LB who will be playing DE. Give him is guaranteed as fast as possible while we have the money so that if he doesnt work out, we can cut him for our drafted rookie and not have a huge cap hit next year or the year after. If he does play well, itll be even cheaper during the last part of his contract.

It's a steal compared to what Buffalo paid Mario.

Mario Williams - 53 sacks in 82 games played for 100 mil, 50 guaranteed.

Wimbley - 42.5 sacks in 95 games played for 35 mil, 13.5 guaranteed.

So Williams, in guaranteed dollars per career sacks, is getting just north of 94 thousand.

Wembley is getting around 32 thousand per career sack.

    We got a steal here.

ETA - (and keep in mind Wembley has played for the browns and raiders, two of the biggest dumpster fire franchises in the league.)
