Kam Wimbley 5 years 35 Mil

    According to rotoworld.com

Good sign here - im from bay area and most oakland fans are crying over losing him but with the new regime in oakland and the money they had to cut him lose ..

O well its our gain now and we needed this upgrade on defense.

He can play DE and OLB but i assume he pass rushes for us.

Instant upgrade for a team who finished 2nd to last in sacks last year.

42.5 sacks in 6 years? Not too shabby.

We still need depth. Perhaps Klug plays at DE some more this year. He did well just about anywhere he lined up it seemed.

I don't really think we are going there, but the pieces we've been getting the last 2 seasons have really been reminding me of a 3-4 defense. Ayers, Wimbley, and Casey, and also Klug would make a good 3-4 end. I think we could easily make the transition even this year.
