Happy Thanksgiving to all. For those who may venture online during the game, use this thread to talk about it.

I will be at the mother in-law's sisters home at kick-off.. and they're good people but they just don't get it... a Titans game is a huge deal to me... so somehow I must try to mask just how vested I am... I think I am going to bring the am/fm headset along just in case...

    Hmmmm... here's the deal...

You get the boy to tell them he wants to watch the Titans. You might send him into the house wearing a Titans cap or something. Offer him an extra dessert if he can make it happen.

I just rolled back into town on Thanksgiving break from college. I was supposed to work today until 3 but I got a call and was told I didn't have to come in. It'd be nice to have the money from work because as a broke college student I'll take all I can get..

the game will come on the T.V.

that's not really the issue... it's just that everyone will be too busy talking about what a great President Sarah Palin will make someday... or whether Jimmie Johnson deserves wining the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series... or whether compound bow is superior to muzzleloading...

the worst part is the looks I'm going to get when I show actual enthusiasm following a Titans score or big play... worst part is there isn't a drop of alcohol in that place. No beer, no wine, no booze... It will be 3 o'clock before I'll even get a drink. It's all good though. My parents live just a few miles away. We're Catholic so you know we like our drinks.

It may be a good idea to give the parents a quick visit during halftime. :brow:

I hope to be permanently relocated by then. If I make it to my parents house I'm not going anywhere. They have HD... hopefully I will be able to see some football in HD this year. Last year the Comcast wan was so taxed that we were unable to see the game in hd. Isn't that terribly gay? So many people were watching that channel there just wasn't enough bandwidth to go around... that's only one reason why satellite is superior to cable.

    What time is kickoff?

    9:30 or 10?

It says the game starts at 12:30 (est.) but is that opening celebrations or kickoff?

    Anyone?
